John Moore managed all health clubs, spa facilities, and salons at Walt Disney World’s Resort Hotels. As an industry visionary, he overhauled and redesigned the Grand Floridian Spa and Health Club transforming it from a losing enterprise to a highly profitable wellness facility. In addition, he expanded the management company to off-Disney locations like the Marriott World Center, the Renaissance Orlando Resort and the Rosen Center. His proven spa management and internal training programs quickly led the company to create a quality environment that incubated a dynamic team. Mr. Moore’s success with this management company earned him world-wide notoriety and earned him the nickname, The Spa Expert. After leaving the management company, Mr. Moore consulted with hundreds of spas throughout the world. He took his knowledge and experience from Disney and employed his systems and training to cultivate effective teams and maximize productivity.
As owner and operator of the Celebration Day Spa located in Florida Hospital Celebration Health Mr. Moore applied his spa management and marketing system to build a massively successful enterprise. Orlando Magazine named the Celebration Day Spa the number one day spa in the Orlando area three years in a row. His spa experience led him to import a paramedical skin care line which he introduced to more than sixty resorts and spas around the United States and the Caribbean. Mr. Moore sold his interest to pursue international consulting full time.
